Protection of animals
We are in the early stages of the Earth’s sixth mass extinction, according to a study from Stanford University. And while previous extinctions have been caused by natural planetary transformations or asteroid strikes, it seems that humans may be responsible for this one.
Biologists have drawn a chilling connection between the decline of animal populations and the knock-on effects it could have on human health – with risks including plague epidemics in densely populated areas. Association of writers write my essay for me service discovered that up to 33% of all vertebrates species are estimated to be threatened or endangered globally. Stanford biology Professor Rodolfo Dirzo, has revealed how, through a complex chain of cascading effects, human lives in large numbers could be at stake if we don’t ensure the survival of these animals.
Essay editor also gives a special importance to maintain the planet’s biodiversity, that it is the richness (variety) of animal and plant life, its abundance and wild habitats that keeps us all healthy and happy. The more species disappear, the more entire eco-systems become vulnerable and would eventually fall apart as the links in the food chains become broken. For example certain animals only eat certain plants and those plants may need that animal to pollinate it or spread its seed. Without one, the other is also likely to die out. God made Man ,God made Plants and God made animals. Man being the supreme manifestation of God has proved that he is master of all earthly creatures, be it the flora of fauna. There are rules and rights for the human race but what about others? What about the animals, don’t they have the right to survive and flourish.
Of course they are equally important as we are. They may not be able to voice their rights to survive; but they have a right to live. Being a more intelligent species we need to grant them their rights of living on this beautiful planet.
Now the question arises, how to grant them those rights. Well the concept is simple, live and let live. All living beings are entitled to live in their natural habitat., then why should we put the animals inside cages and walls, far away from their natural surroundings for our selfish enjoyment.
Look at the epitome of self-interest, a reptile like monitor lizard is kept as a pet in a small apartment of a skyscraper, as the person has a passion for reptiles. Is this justified? A polar bear is dragged all the way from Ice capped Alaska to be made a prisoner into a smoldering Asian country zoo. Is this justified? Mice are hurled into dark wooden cabinets to be subjected to a scientific experiment for the noble cause of mankind. Is this justified too? There are innumerable examples of such merciless actions of humans on animals. So the first and the foremost right of animals is that they have a right to live in their natural surroundings.
Secondly, animals have a right to be given a pollution free environment, be it on land, air or water .For instance , deforestation has hampered the survival of so many animals and plants. Diminishing rainforests are resulting into extinction of so many multiple gene of flora and fauna.
Moreover the pollution in rivers, seas and oceans ,primarily due to oil spills and other human activities ,is the cause of death and extinction of so many marine birds and animals. Furthermore the dumping of the non recyclable polyethylene has become an unnecessary evil which has killed wildlife resulting in the worlds worst environmental problems for animals. There have been number of cases where the plastic bags have been ingested by turtles and whales leading to internal obstruction and death. The Planet Ark environmental foundation in Sydney Australia estimates that ten of thousands of whales, seals, turtles and birds are killed from plastic bags litter every year. Instead of taking away lives of so many innocent creatures, the humans should give them the rights to live in pollution free atmosphere.
Another factor is air pollution because of air trafficking, due to which the winged kings and queens of the sky are victims of constant ruthless torture. Hence animals have a right to be given a pollution free atmosphere.
Thirdly the modern curse –Global warming is taking its toll on animals too. Change in the cycle of seasons has disrupted the hibernation pattern of animals. Birds are migrating and arriving early to their nesting grounds. Due to the rise in temperature so many species of mammalians have come under the category of becoming endangered and extinct. Man has to be careful, regulate and ensure that he gives the right to animals to exist in pollution free environment today and tomorrow .
Let us make our planet a perfect example for the harmonically existence of animals. Let us treat them with kindness and love. Let us protect them and give them the right to live as one of the splendid creatures ever made. Someone has rightly said ‘all things bright and beautiful ,all creatures great and small, all things bright and wonderful the lord god made them all.”
